Look into the space of where i am shooting, consider the beach and understand why i am shooting there. Positive feedback about the moving image and the idea of the split screen however the work could be either very boring or very atmospheric depending on the interpretation of the moving image piece. Good representation of being present but not being involved and being a spectator. Perhaps think about reshooting this work and looking more into split screen moving image. Also think about moments of nothing or overlapping moving image, moments of just the beach, play around with editing, perhaps everyone being absent or just them being absent.
Think about other locations, perhaps not on the beach and lit slighting differently, look at lighting and the way in which you manufacture a scene with the boys, manufacture a feeling or a relationship dynamic. Perhaps a mixture of Nelli and Liao and involve myself with more face-touching, hands and hugs, touching hands and more conceptual face touching, or no touching to make it even more awkward, nearly touching?
