EDIT:

This final shoot for myself and my sister was a reshoot of the work I have previously done. I decided to reshoot as I was almost happy with the work I had made but wanted to explore it slightly more. this is the most I have featured in the work so far as I am in every shot, which shows the difference in the level of comfort I have with my little sister, as well as showing the power dynamic, that I am in a position of power to be able to stand with her in the frame and move away from behind the camera. In the images we look very at ease with each other, and very affectionate, which gives the images a very different atmosphere compared to the other work I have made. My favourite work from the previous shoot was the image of myself looking back on Flo as she had her eyes shut. I reshot this image as I didn’t like the face that Flo was pulling. I also decided to put us in black vests as I felt that the white shirt was becoming a bit on a theme in the work, and I didn’t want the audience to notice the clothing. I did however, take inspiration from Maja Daniels’s Monette and Mady and dress myself and Flo the same, with the same hair and no make up. We naturally look very different (I look like our Dad and she looks like her mum) but there is still something about us that is so similar. Flo is actually taller than me, but I wanted myself to look talker in the images so that I looked more powerful.
My favourite of the series is still the image of myself looking back on Flo for the same reasons as previously. However I feel that this is a cleaner and clearer version of the previous shot.
